A: To join the WVA Buying Group you will need to fill out a membership application, as well as a Buying Group Agreement. Follow the link located at the top of the distribution page. Once your application and agreement have been processed, we will contact you with your account number.
A: If you are already a member of WVA for contact lens distribution, you will need to fill out the Buying Group Agreement. We will then transfer your accounts and we will notify you when complete.
A: WVA provides unique account numbers for each office location, whether it is a primary office or a subsidiary office.
A: For your convenience, we will ask you to provide current account numbers for the vendors you would like to bill through WVA. We will then contact those vendors on your behalf and notify them that all billing will now be through WVA.
A: Please contact WVA and we will work to assist you.
A: You will continue to order directly through your vendors. When placing an order, you will simply provide them with your account number for that vendor. Important: You will not use your WVA account when ordering.
A: Shipping arrangements are made between you and the vendor that you are ordering from. Joining the WVA Buying Group will not enhance or change this.
A: WVA does not charge an administration fee, while still offering full vendor discounts, no restocking fee on soft contact lens returns, WVA contact lens YourRewards™, and more!
A: The returned product is sent back to the vendor from which it was purchased. Please retain a copy of your credit receipt. The credit you receive from the vendor will be applied to your WVA statement and can be used for any purchases through WVA.
A: WVA Buying Group sends out its statement on the second business day of the month. The statement will list the date when your payment is due.
A: WVA will not allow you to short pay the amount of your pending credits.
A: All prompt pay discounts are contained in the gross discount.
A: Yes. WVA accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover Card, and Amex. You will receive full discounts less 4% and will not be eligible for YourRewards™.
A: Yes, WVA members are awarded one membership amendment per year. WVA will provide you with the proper forms upon request.
A: WVA reserves the right to charge a late fee on funds that are not postmarked by the due date listed on your WVA statement. In addition, you may forfeit the discount WVA gives you.
A: YourRewards™ points are earned as a member of the Buying Group when you pay your bill by check. WVA will reward you with 1% of qualifying Soft Contact Lens purchases, providing the account is in good standing.
A: To be eligible for YourRewards™, each location must bill a minimum of 3 vendors and $6,000 quarterly. WVA YourRewards™ are capped at 4,000 points, per organization, annually.
A: Log in to your WVA account, click on the YourRewards™ tab, and you will see your YourRewards™ information.
A: The YourRewards™ page allows you to redeem your YourRewards™ points interactively online.
A: YourRewards™ points are updated after the 12th of every month.
A: Only you and those you provide your www.wisvis.com login information to will have access to your WVA Buying Group account.
A: WVA Buying Group YourRewards™ points do not expire.
A: WVA Buying Group gift cards are shipped within 72 hours of being redeemed. If you haven’t received your cards within 10 business days, please contact us at 1-800-747-9000 ext. 3.
